Mediation is a fast, economical, private way to resolve disputes. It's a process in which the parties, along with a trained impartial mediator, explore issues and generate options which lead to the creation of solutions which will work for all parties. If you feel that mediation might be an avenue for you to pursue in order to resolve your dispute, please call us for more information: 1.830.792.5000 or email us
The HCADRC offers the 40-Hour Basic Mediation Course once a year. Our last course was over two non-consecutive weekends in August and September of 2008. The cost of that course was $550.

The HCADRC usually offers the 30-Hour Advanced Family Mediation Course once a year. Our last course was in February of 2009, and the cost for that course was $350. We will post information on this website about the date of future courses once they have been scheduled.

Both courses meet the standards established by the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable. Payment of half of the tuition is needed to save you a seat in one of these courses, and the remainder is due on the first day of the course
